Stal Gorzów Wielkopolski is a multiple Polish champion on a speedway that has a huge crowd of supporters. Despite this, the club authorities are still trying to be as close as possible to their fans, attract them to the stadium or communicate with them in the online world. All of those could be achieved with the help of a special application. The project was realized by cooperating with the Fan Foundation. It was also the next stage of development of the Sportbonus program.
Scope of work
We created a mobile application for iOS and Android, which made watching the highest level of speedway in every smartphone possible. The solution was written in the React Native technology. It is a cross-platform framework prepared and developed by Facebook, which allows you to create applications using JavaScript on two most popular platforms. In addition, our team was also responsible for the UX/UI design.
Effects
Thanks to the application, fans of Stali Gorzów are up to date with information about their team and can easily communicate with each other by posting on the board. What else awaits fans who have downloaded the app from the App Store or Google Play? Photo galleries, videos, match reports, backstage materials, and access to the Always Together affiliate program, which allows you to carry out a variety of initiatives around the club. Fans of the team from the Lubuskie Voivodeship quickly liked the application, because just after its premiere in September 2018, it was among the most popular sports applications.
